Fridays or Thursdays in Spanish
At Pollitos, we understand the importance of strengthening Spanish from an early age, especially for families who wish their children to maintain and develop their mother tongue.
For this reason, we offer children aged 0 to 6 the opportunity to enjoy a full day of total immersion in Spanish each week.
This takes place in a safe, warm, and stimulating environment where learning is naturally integrated through play and everyday experiences.
During these sessions, children are exposed to rich Spanish input and have the opportunity to interact with other children in a similar context.
What activities are included?
- Games and songs in Spanish: Learning through play is our philosophy. We use songs and games to help children acquire new vocabulary and improve their comprehension while having fun.
- Creative activities: Crafts, painting, and role-playing activities allow children to express their creativity while practicing Spanish.
- Storytelling and reading: We foster a love for reading and language development with Spanish stories that stimulate children's imagination.
- Thematic workshops: Each week, we explore different themes, from nature to cultural traditions, providing children with Spanish immersion related to their world.
- Guided activities: We offer structured activities that encourage the use of Spanish in various situations.
- Outdoor play: Children enjoy outdoor activities while interacting in Spanish, learning about the world around them in their language.
What is the price for Fridays/Thursdays in Spanish?
Fridays or Thursdays at Pollitos operate on a monthly subscription of 1,950 DKK, which includes all Fridays or Thursdays of the month, except during the summer, Christmas, and Easter holidays.
The subscription guarantees your child's place on an ongoing basis, so the monthly fee remains the same regardless of attendance. Absences due to holidays, illness, or other personal reasons do not entitle you to discounts, make-up sessions, or changes to scheduled days.
If you prefer to attend occasionally, you can also book individual Fridays or Thursdays, subject to availability.
Occasional Friday or Thursday: 700 DKK
If you wish to pause your subscription at any time, simply let us know 15 days in advance. You are welcome to restart your subscription later, provided that places are available.
What is the schedule?
Fridays from 08:30 to 15:00
- 08:30: Arrival and free play in learning environments
- 09:30: Assembly
- 10:00: Snack
- 10:30: Outdoor play/Early Spanish language stimulation*
- 11:15: Lunch
- 12:00: Language focused activity/Nap time*
- 13:30: Afternoon snack
- 14:00: Storytime
- 14:30: Outdoor play
*Scheduled activities for the kids from 0 to 3 years old.
If you need to drop off your child before or after, Pollitos is available Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 08:30 and from 15:00 to 16:00. We offer the following options:
- 550 DKK for the monthly service from 08:00 to 08:30 and from 15:00 to 16:00.
- 150 DKK per day needed.
Food, clothing and other necessities?
Food Children should bring their own lunch and a water bottle. Pollitos provides breakfast and an afternoon snack.
Clothing Children should be dressed appropriately for the weather conditions, and please note that there are some painting activities.
Please remember to bring a spare change of clothes for your child in case they need to change during their stay at the school.
