Toddlers
From 24 months to 3 years old
Classes for the youngest children are designed so that Spanish becomes part of their world in a natural, positive, and meaningful way. Through play, songs, movement, sensory exploration, and shared experiences with their families, children develop their first communicative skills in Spanish in a safe, warm, and supportive environment.
At this stage, we focus especially on:
- Expanding comprehension and vocabulary in Spanish.
- Developing communication through words, gestures, songs, and games.
- Stimulating sensory, motor, cognitive, and social development.
- Creating positive associations with the language from an early age.
- Strengthening the connection between language, culture, and family.
Activities are adapted to each child's developmental pace and combine hands-on experiences, movement, music, stories, and creative activities that spark curiosity and encourage the desire to communicate in Spanish.
Groups are small to ensure a close, personalised approach.
Course Information
Classes are organised in blocks of 8 sessions, which usually take place over a period of approximately 3 to 4 months, taking school holidays and public holidays into account.
Progress Monitoring and Assessment
At the end of each period, we share feedback with families on their child's language development and the progress observed in class.
We carry out two formal assessments each year:
At the end of the cycle before the Christmas holidays.
At the end of the cycle before the summer holidays.
Children in the Preschool group and above also have a personal portfolio where their classwork and activities are collected. At the end of each term, they can take it home to share their achievements and progress with their families.
Bookshop and Library
At the entrance of the academy, you will find our bookshop and library. We offer a carefully selected collection of Spanish-language children's books that support language development, essential learning skills, values, and a love of reading.
If you purchase a book, please include the title in the MobilePay payment reference (103972).
Community Library
We also run a community library. Families are welcome to borrow Spanish-language books and to donate books they no longer use.
Library books can be found in the drawers of the bench at the entrance and are easy to identify. Please remember to record any borrowed books on the list provided on the table.
A Few Reminders
Please supervise your children while they are in the entrance area.
If your children would like to read while waiting, they are welcome to use the books available in the library drawers.
We kindly ask that children do not handle or damage books that are for sale in the bookshop.
